Position Salary Range: $7,678 -$11,516 per month

The anticipated hiring range for this position is $8,000 - $8,138per month.

Salary is commensurate with experience.

About the Department/Position:

Under the general direction of the Associate Vice President ofAcademic Advising and Career Development (AVP AACD), the Directorof the Toro Success Collaborative (TSC) strategically leads effortsto build the digital infrastructure that supports cross-divisional,equity and student-centered collaborations that drive student andcareer success. In concert with the AVP AACD, the Directorstrategically manages the EAB Navigate platform, operationalizingin this platform the interdivisional collaborations that span theStudent Success Centers and other critical care units in the EABecosystem that form the backbone of the TSC. The incumbent providesstrategic guidance to help realize TSC as a holistic platform forstudent success and provides periodic reports to the campuscommunity about our shared progress. In conjunction with criticalcampus partners, the Director leverages understandings ofevidence-informed assessment and analysis, along with models ofinstitutional improvement and responsiveness, like the CulturallyEngaging Campus Environment and HSI Servingness approaches, inorder to ensure a holistic approach that supports the Going FarTogether strategic plan. The incumbent will serve on theAACD organization's leadership team and be responsible for leadingstrategic discussions related to implementing campaigns, messaging,and their assessment through the platform for purposes related tostudent success, organizational improvement, and support of(re)enrollment.

This position may require flexible work schedule especially duringthe Fall and Spring semesters that includes evening hours andpossibly weekend hours.

Overview of Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Student Success Center Directors and CareerDirector to develop business processes, calendars, and timelinesfor departmental tracking of data, reporting, and dataanalytics
  • Strategize with a variety of campus managers, faculty and staffto ensure the successful and timely implementation of EAB relatedprojects and assessments
  • Work with the AVP AACD on various campus-wide projectimplementation timelines and processes that imply or explicitlyrequire an EAB integration to be successful
  • Lead the EAB onboarding process of care units acrosscampus
  • Plan, initiate, and evaluate campaigns through EAB, includingthose aimed at increasing (re)enrollment

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Cover letter
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
  • Five - seven (5-7) years of experience in program/projectevaluation and assessment
  • Two - three (2-3) years of supervisory/managerialexperience
  • Pedagogical comprehension and research connected to assessmentand instruction; understanding of the principles, practices andmajor trends concerning student retention, persistence andassessment
  • Experience using common statistical methodologies to analyzeprogram and process data determining efficiency andeffectiveness
  • Experience working in an institution of Higher Education

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to work across various student data platforms includingPeopleSoft, TSC (EAB), Campus Lab, Tableau, and otherdashboards.
  • Ability to provide leadership of a strategic nature designingand implementing the analysis, development, and evaluation ofhighly complex programs, processes or projects with broadimpact.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with models ofinstitutional improvement that center equity and justice in theirapplication.
  • Experience working with and for traditionally underserved andunderrepresented populations.
  • Demonstrated strong verbal and written communications skillsand effectiveness and comfort level with presentations to multiplelevels of an organization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's or advanced Degree from accredited university.
  • Four (4) or more years of experience in program/projectevaluation and assessment.
  • Experience development of independent assessment initiativesand reporting.
  • Experience developing business processes for assessment andevaluation project.
  • Experience writing and presenting executive-level reports onlarge, complex topics.
  • Experience working with university stakeholders from multipledivisions, including from Academic Affairs.
