What Does Dexterity Do in Elden Ring?
Dexterity is one of the eight Attributes that govern your character in Elden Ring. Dexterity directly affects what type of weapons you can wield in the game.
The more DEX you have, the more advanced weapons you will be able to wield.
Each weapon has a particular requirement for Dexterity, and some even have scaling attributes that boost attack based on your Dexterity.

The Uchigatana is located in the Deathtouched Catacombs, hanging out on a corpse in the dungeon.
Bloodhound’s Fang
One of the weapons you really don’t want to miss in the early game is Bloodhound’s Fang. This huge, curved blade might be the ultimate Dexterity weapon in Elden Ring, especially early on in your adventure.
Not only does the weapon have a C in Dexterity-scaling right off the bat, but it even comes with an extremely fast (and stylish) unique skill, Bloodhound Finesse.
You’ll need to travel to Forlorn Hound Evergaol, just south of the starting area, for this blade.

Dual-Wielding Reduvia
The Reduvia dagger is one of the most powerful early game weapons in Elden Ring, especially when dual-wielding. Even by itself, the knife is wildly good, thanks to its insanely high bleed build.
In just a few hits from the weapon, enemies will lose a huge chunk of health as their bleed bars fill up. What’s more, the Reduvia can also fire its unique Weapon Skill: Blood Blade for just 6 FP.
To get your hands on just one Reduvia, you’ll need to face off against Bloody Finger Nerijus at this location close to the starting area. However, you’ll have some backup from Bloody Finger Hunter Yura, making this an easy fight.
To get a second Reduvia, you’ll need to use Multiplayer to summon a friend who can drop you a second weapon. Alternatively, stick a second bleed-inducing Ash of War on another dagger and you’ll have a build that’s just as good as two Reduvia.

Hookclaws

To get your hands on the Hookclaws, first you’ll need to beat Margit the Fell Omen at Stormveil Castle. Then, progress in the castle until you get to the Stormveil Cliffside Site of Grace.
From here, head up the stairs, back into the keep, and then before you head up the indoor stairs, check out the storage room below the staircase. Be careful as there is a powerful enemy patrolling the area, but the Hookclaws can be found at the back of the room.
