A popular ski resort representing Tochigi Prefecture, commonly known as ``Hantama.''
It is one of the largest in the metropolitan area and is easily accessible from the city center. It is attracting attention for its early season start and equipped with the latest snow machines, but the resort's stylish atmosphere makes it particularly popular among student users. There are 12 slopes in total, and there is also a gondola that will take you all the way to the top, and you can also enjoy a downhill slope with a total length of 3000m. Carving enthusiasts will be satisfied with the clean, compacted snow. The further enhancement of the snow park is also a hot topic this season.

・F.D.R.
Maximum slope: 25 degrees Average: 18 degrees / Distance: 810m / Slope direction: North
Hantama's famous course "F・D・R" has a variety of degrees. The wide face has a maximum slope of 25°, making it quite challenging. Starting in mid-January, a part of the course changes into a bumpy slope that resembles a sea of bumps. Since it's located along the lift, it's a great place for skiers who love bumps to show off their skills and train.
・Madison Avenue
Maximum slope: 20 degrees Average: 15 degrees / Distance: 650m / Slope orientation: North
An advanced course from the top of the slopes. Downhill while enjoying a wonderful view. The face that descends straight is moderately slanted and wide enough. It feels good when you hit it with a high-speed carving turn. Because the slope faces north, the snow conditions are easy to maintain and slippery.
・New Madison
Maximum slope: 25 degrees Average: 20 degrees / Distance: 380m / Slope orientation: North
An advanced course with a maximum gradient of 25 degrees that continues from Madison Avenue. If you connect Madison to New Madison, you can enjoy a comfortable long run of about 1km with a moderate slope. If you slide all the way to the bottom, you can access the halfway point of the signature course F, D, and R by the 5th pair lift. Let's slide a lot with lift spinning.

Aged soy sauce ramen @ Kiichi

Shiobara Onsenkyo, where the resort is located, is a collective name for the 11 hot spring resorts that stretch along the Hokigawa River valley, which cuts into the mountains northwest of the vast Nasunogahara in northern Tochigi Prefecture. The hot spring is said to have been discovered in 806 AD, and has been a famous hot spring that has healed the mind and body of people who visit it for over 1,200 years.
