Mia Pardieu, D1L Summer Program AssociateMia is a second-year law student at the University of Maine School of Law, and our first associate to join us as part of the D1L Summer Associate Program ̶ an initiative to build a stronger, more diverse community of legal professionals in Maine. As an associate, Mia will be working with the Compliance and Legal Affairs team supporting legal research and experiencing legal practice in Maine.During her internship, Mia hopes to gain hands-on professional experience and learn more about the career paths available within the field of law. Aliyah Bureau, Network Database Specialist InternAliyah is a rising senior at the University of Tampa in Florida, where she is pursuing a major in Public Health with a concentration in Health Promotion and Practice, and minors in both Business Administration and Data Analytics. As a Network Database Specialist intern, Aliyah will be supporting strategic projects relating to our provider databases.During her internship, Aliyah hopes to develop real-world skills in the behind-the-scenes work of health care to apply to her future career.
