Probably not, this movie came out in '74, and the Steve Miller Band didn't release the song on an album until '76.

There's only one song and it's called something like Time, why did you run from me, at least that's what the lyrics sound like.

I'm a newbie to the site and let me say, IT'S AWESOME!! My hats off to the webmsters and all that contribute. If your wondering the story behind my user name PistolGrip (maybe not and don't really care.) In 1980 I bought a 1969 Roadrunner hull. The body was near perfect, but the interior had NOTHING! No seats, door panels, kick panels etc. You get the picture, but laying in the floorboard was a pistol grip shifter. Well that did it for me I handed over the $200 sat on a bucket and pulled her to the garage.
Long story short my brother and some friends rebuilt the car from top to bottom. Remember in 1980 parts came from a junkyard. This was also the days prior to crushing cars. There were no remanufactured parts like today. However, in one junkyard I found eveything I needed for the interior and more. We built one screamin machine orange on black with black strips. The pistol grip shifter looked cool, but it was the worst for shifting hard and fast in a street race. You learn quickly to shift by holding the top of the shifter and not the grip portion as it ws designed for. Two years later I sold the car to buy wedding rings and 32+ years later I'm ah,ah,ah Happy to say we are still together. :>) but man I always wonder where that '69 is at. I have more about my cars later.
Now I'm hoping someone out there can help me with a question regarding the 1969 Charger RT in Dirty Mary Crazy Larry. WHAT IS THE CORRECT COLOR FOR THIS CAR? I've heard Citron yellow? but I've also heard greens mentioned. I'm asking because my brother builds 1/24 scale models and for this one he has all the stripes etc. but really not exactly sure what color the car is. He puts his cars in shows so getting the color near perfect is important.
While you ponder on that I was watching a 1971 episode of the Brady Bunch the other day and Mike, the dad pulls into the drive, in a brand slam new blue on blue '71 Cuda convertible. God those was the days. Thanks for reading and any help is appreciated.

uh, I wasn't born until the first week of September in 1985. I didn't have very much religion brought into my life at all until after I came out of a coma I was in for a month after crashing a 1995 Honda Del Sol Si-R VTEC on August 19, 2003 at shortly after 10pm... so uh...sorry...no clue on that one... check Youtube though...tons of sh*t like that shows up on Youtube
